We won a penalty kick towards the end of the game.  

I decided to take responsibility for it and stepped up to take it - something about missing 100% of shots you don't take, I thought I will do this.  .

I have this routine, where I try to trick the goalkeeper into which direction I send it.  I look at the goalie, then look at one of the the corners of the goal.  

I wait to see if the keeper takes the bait

and if he does, I put it in the other corner.

It didn't quite fully work, but it was enough to nestle into the net.  

The team came up to celebrate with me.  Even though we didn't win, we had a moment of glory, I think we were expecting to lose about 12 - 0, in the end it was a gallant 4 - 1 defeat against a much better, younger and fitter team - so giving a good account of ourselves is in itself is the victory.  

In the past couple of months, I have been working hard on two very different goals.  

Now one is done, the other is in progress, time doesn't wait, before not too long, I'll be writing to say this one is done too.  

If you haven't started on something you want in life, the best thing to do is just start in any way, doesn't matter what it is, getting moving overcomes inertia.
