Hi , so the clocks going forward an hour this weekend has coincided with the best weather of the year (so far) for us here.

 

I've begun to really love this time of year.  

 

I always used to think summer was my favourite season, but over the past couple of years, spring has now become my favourite season.  

 

 

I think it because coming out of winter, spring brings hope and the promise of Summer.

And so it is with work.  I ploughed hard in winter, having written the final draft of Battle Panda issue 3.  I posted out job adverts looking for a new artist.  

 

I have had 35 applications come in (plus more in social media who have DM'd me) - so many high calibre artists have applied.

 

It's going to take a while longer for me to go through the applications.  I want to make sure that I give each application the time it deserves and write and reply to the artists who took the time out to apply. 

 

 

It's a difficult decision as I look to set up and run interviews.  I hope to be able to write back to you in the next email to introduce you to the new artist.

 

I hope the spring is finding its way to you.
