What time is too early and what time is too late to launch a Kickstarter?

hope this email finds you well, how is lock down going? Are you going stir crazy or using the time productively?

Digitopia 2 Kickstarter launches end of May

I'm super excited to let you know that the Kickstarter for Digitopia 1 + 2 will launch at the end of May, most likely Saturday May 30th.

As well as determining the exact date, I'm also determining the exact time.

Why is the exact time so important?

We have a limited number of your likeness in the book rewards, to give everyone an opportunity to claim one of these rewards we're trying to find a time that will work for the whole audience from North America to Australia.

To make the maths more fun, both the US and Australia have multiple time zones spanning -8 hours (UK to West Coast US) to +9 hours (UK to Australia East).

Essentially a 2 pm launch UK time, would mean

US West Coast 6 am launch
US Mountain time 7 am launch
US Central is 8 am launch
US East Coast is 9 am launch
Australia West is 9 pm launch
Australia East is 11 pm launch

As the backer's likeness rewards are super limited, I want to make sure everyone has a chance to get these before they go.

I really want to hear back from you, especially if you're in the US West or Mountain time zones to know whether 6am and 7am is too early and if you in Australia East Standard Time is 11 pm too late?

I think for everyone from US Central to Australia West the launch time will work.
