Digitopia page 13 - the 'truth' is out there

Hey , hope this email finds you well.

I have another bumper newsletter for you this week, with no further ado let's dive straight in.

Digitopia 2 Kickstarter plans being readied - do you want a print book or a digital book?

We've made great progress on issue 2 of the book, we've completed the first ten pages of art, and will be moving onto colours and letters next month.

We're putting together the plans for Digitopia 2.0 Kickstarter. I've been trying to figure out whether to do

a digital only or
a digital + print version of the book.

I've put together this quick and easy form to gather your preference.

Tell me whether you prefer a digital or print copy of Digitopia 2.0

If I go for the second option of a digital and print version it's going to mean the funding target for the book will be that much higher, so I want to first gauge whether you'd like a digital version or a print version.

Your input is super valuable for me to know as we create the campaign.

Extra value blog posts

I want to give extra value on the blog and in this newsletter - in the blog post below the comic page I explore the interplay between one person's world and another's.

On page 12 we say how Milburn was fighting the good fight against the government from the inside - here we see how Milburn needed to reach out to the only person who could help him, anti-architect Cubat.

Simon came up with this idea to beautifully transition from that world into the world where Jay is scampering for survival and the world that is left behind after Yale has created his own Utopia.

Digitopia Lego Figure chosen

Thank you to everyone who voted for which Digitopia character they wanted to see cast as a one off Lego figure.

The results are in and it's been sent to the Lego maker to build the prototype - I'll hopefully have some pictures and share the announcement next week.
