Hey, Digitopia new pages released + last chance to vote for Lego character

Hi ,

wow have I've got a bumper newsletter for you this week?

I've been diligently working away for the past two months to get all the pages of Digitopia 1.0: Displaced Dreams ready for the web comic - I've put together in depth blog posts to accompany each page.

Digitopia Page 10 now live on the blog

So here is page 10 where we meet Laika for the first time.

Laika is the face of the media in the New Digitopia.

On this page we explore what drives the media's agenda and what happens when the media players start doubting the rules of their own game.

Every page has its own specially crafted blog post

I'm really pleased to say that the accompanying blog post is the first of (what I hope will be) many guest blog posts.

This one is written by Kylar Merrell from http://www.foreignpresscomics.com/ who's written about how comic books reflect the real world and real world events.

I've had the first nine pages online for a while, the plan is every weekend I'll put the remaining fourteen pages live, each weekend.

I'll of course send you the new page and blog post first.

Last chance to vote for which Digitopia character you'd like to see as a Lego character

If you haven't already, now is the last chance to vote for which character from the Digitopia world you would like to see cast as a Lego character.

As part of my ComixLaunch Mastermind membership I've been given a unique opportunity to have one of the characters from Digitopia to be made into a one off Lego figure.

Here's one that my fellow course member Rob Multari had made from his excellent Night Wolf book.

These Lego characters really do look great

I won't say which character is leading the pack (pardon the pun) but there's been one character that has polled half the votes so far.
