Hey , hope your week went well.  I just wanted to drop you a quick message to let you know that after much searching we've managed to find just the right artist for Digitopia 2.0 the comic book.  

 

I'm really pleased to announce that Tom Hoskisson will be providing the art for Digitopia 2.0.  

 

Tom has done some truly incredible work, these are a couple of pieces that show the quality levels of what he's previously done

 

Simon and I ran a really rigorous search to find the right artist for the 2.0.  

 

I've done this a couple of times with a few projects, it's always great to meet so many amazing artists.  The hard part is choosing between all the great people that you meet in this process.  

As part of the application process Tom provided some sample art to show that he understands the story. 

 

You can see he's really captured the sensibilities of each character and has really a strong vision for what the city of New Digitopia will look like.  

From here you can see that he's come up with a few different looks for what Jay would look like

I'm so excited to be working with Tom on 2.0.  He joins myself, Simon doing colours and Hassan as editor on the project.  

 

 

 

I'll email you again shortly, we are actually kicking the project off officially and over the weekend we'll start the layout work (my personal favourite part of the comic book making journey) on 2.0.
