Hey , so I recently have started a crowd funding campaign for Digitopia 2.0.

I'm doing this one a bit differently, I'm using a platform called LaunchGood instead of Kickstarter this time round.

Why am I using LaunchGood this time around?

Gamification.

So how does the Gamification on LaunchGood work?

LaunchGood is a much like any other crowdfunding platform, they are going after the Muslim entrepreneurs market.

As this is the month of Ramadan, they have done just the best piece of gamification I have seen in a long time.

During the month of Ramadan they are giving our daily rewards of up to $5000 for the campaign that has the most amount of supporters.

So how is Digitopia 2.0 gamifying this?

I have put Digitopia 2.0 up on LaunchGood with the aim of winning one of these daily prizes - ideally the first prize.

Winning the first prize could land the project $5k.

What would $5k mean for Digitopia 2.0?

Essentially it would fund the entire issue in one hit. That means the editor, the artist, the colourist, the letterer and all the layout of Digitopia 2.0.

Campaign with Most Amount of supporters in a day is 289

Currently the campaigns with the most amount of supporters in a day is tracking at 289 backers in a day - yes that is a big number.

But if we can get an audience to move on the same day - today in fact (there's no time like the present), then I feel we could get to 289 in a single day.

So , you can help for only £1.

Using my background in gamification I have set a £1 giving level in my campaign.

In itself £1 wouldn't go very far, but 289 people giving £1 on the same day could net a prize of $5k for Digitopia 2.0.
