• Layouts of the pages have all been done and signed off.
• We're combining the pencils and inks together sequentially, currently we have signed off page 17 on inks and page 16 on pencils - so essentially 2/3rds the way through the book
• The colouring stage will begin this month 
• Letters will follow soon after the colours are complete
• I emailed the printers last week, to confirm the prices and delivery timescale - the printer has everything is in order and confirmed he can meet our timelines

 

I have started the writing phase for Digitopia 3.0.

 

Though I had actually already written the whole graphic novel some time back. The story has emerged into three distinct individual stories, I've not written a part 3 of an ongoing series, so I'm learning a lot from this process.  

 

Working with the editor and the art team has meant a lot of the story and character arcs have evolved over the past couple of years - so writing issue 3 from what I had back then is essentially a lot rewriting.  

 

It's truly phenomenal to see where the script is in its current draft to where it was when I wrote it initially a few years back.
